"Sieben Rosen hat der Strauch" is a musical birthday present with a feminist touch: knowledgeable female interpreters of Brecht bring Brechtian poetry to the stage. Musical settings by Kurt Weill, Hanns Eisler and Paul Dessau are given a musical makeover for the birthday. You can marvel at new, modern settings by Augsburg composers. Recitations of selected poems round off the evening. A Brecht homage as versatile as the poet himself: poetic, philosophical, powerful, witty, wild and colorful.
