Josef Holzhauser has been a professional guitarist in rock and jazz bands since 1980. He studied concert guitar at the Leopold Mozart Conservatory in Augsburg and founded the Augsburg big band "Baritone and Friends". Josef Holzhauser has been working as a freelance music teacher since 1984 and teaches concert and electric guitar. In addition to his involvement in numerous music and drama productions, he founded the record label "AndraeRecords-Gute Musik für Kinder" and, together with the actress Karla Andrä, the FaksTheater Augsburg.
