Joachim Holzhauser is at home as a drummer and vibraphonist in a wide variety of bands and styles. He received his musical training at the vocational school for music in Krumbach and at the University of Augsburg. Holzhauser is a lecturer in rhythm and percussion at the University of Augsburg, teaches percussion at municipal music schools and works as a speaker and workshop leader for the "Mehr Musik" project. He has been involved as a percussionist in numerous musical productions at the Augsburg City Theater.
