Johannes Ochsenbauer studied jazz double bass with Paulo Cardoso and classical double bass with Prof. Cajus Oana at the Musikhochschule and the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich. He performs with various ensembles in Germany and abroad and is regularly engaged for CD, radio and television productions. Classical and cross-over productions have taken Johannes Ochsenbauer to the Bavarian State Opera and the Rheingau Music Festival, among others. In 2019, Ochsenbauer's work was awarded the Augsburg District Art Prize.
