The destruction of the human rights organization "International Memorial" is the starting point for "Memoria". The documentary play by Nana Grinstein interweaves interviews, court files and texts from Bertolt Brecht's time in exile with the case file of the famous Brecht actress, whose tragic fate was reconstructed by "International Memorial".
Following the screening, human rights activist and co-founder of "International Memorial" Irina Scherbakova spoke about narratives of collective memory in Russia.
