Katharina Spiering
Katharina Spiering was born in East Berlin, where she performed at the Friedrichstadt-Palast and the Volksbühne from an early age. After a voluntary service in Russia, she studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin and has since been engaged at theaters all over Germany.
She has appeared in numerous film and TV productions, such as the Netflix series Dark, Tatort and the film adaptations of the Kluftinger crime novels. Until last year, she also regularly appeared in Russian cinema and TV productions. Her voice is known from her work as a dubbing actress as well as from audio books and radio plays.
For over a year now, Katharina Spiering has been involved in supporting Ukrainian and Russian people who have left their country following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, in addition to her acting work.
