Anastasia Patlay and Nana Grinstein are a creative tandem of playwright and director. In their more than 10 years of collaboration, Nana and Anastasia have created several documentary theater plays and curated several workshops and seminars on documentary theater. They have collaborated with many cultural institutions and theaters, most notably teatr.doc, the Sakharov Center, Memorial and the Meyerhold Center. "Memoria" was their last play produced in Russia, which premiered on February 9 and 10, 2022, the birthdays of Vsevolod Meyerhold and Bertolt Brecht, and two weeks before the outbreak of war. After the Russian attack on Ukraine, Grinstein and Patlaj went abroad. In exile, they worked on the documentary play "Discreditation" as part of the international project "Sąsiedzi. Sąsiedzi. Sąsiedzi. Neighbors", initiated by the Polish Floating EKA Foundation. The first public reading of the play took place in Berlin in April 2023.
