Chi Hui from Chengdu is one of the most versatile voices in the contemporary Chinese science fiction cosmos. The worlds she creates are inhabited by giant bugs, hyper-intelligent rats, evil pirates and artificial humans. An exhibition of 35 illustrations at Café Tür an Tür showed scenes from four of the sci-fi author's stories. The book project "The Legacy of Mankind" was presented at a reading on the last Saturday of the festival. Chi Hui was connected live from Chengdu. After a conversation with live translation by Felix Meyer zu Venne, excerpts from her stories were read, after which the podium opened up for a discussion about the future.
