Dorothea Schroeder studied directing at the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding and has since worked as a drama and music theater director in German-speaking countries. In addition to world premieres of contemporary material, operas, operettas and family plays, she regularly realizes her own projects. Together with Nina Gühlstorff, Schroeder has been developing documentary and socio-cultural theater projects since 2004 and has worked several times as a curator and festival director.
