Lechhausen has a multitude of pubs and restaurants - traditional inns, newly acquired restaurants, resilient bars, popular snack bars. The guests change daily and change over the years, the innkeepers, whether long-established or newcomers, become chroniclers of the district. An audio feature is created from conversations with pub owners in Lechhausen. Individual stories provide an insight into historical situations: Lechhausen - once a classic working-class neighborhood - is now home to many precariously employed people with and without a history of migration. How has the neighborhood changed over the last 30 years, what drives people, what drove them back then?
