The Notwist are probably one of the most pioneering indie bands of the present day. The Notwist started out as a hardcore crossover band in the early 1990s and transformed over the years into a style and genre-defining formation between noise, pop, jazz and krautrock. Their 2021 album "Vertigo Days" conveys musical openness in an amalgamation of melancholic pop and sparkling electronics, hypnotic krautrock and floating ballads.
