Born in Munich in 1968, he is a freelance author, translator and political scientist and has been publishing on social movements and international politics for many years. Until 2013 he was a professor at the National University of Colombia, since then he has taught at the universities of Kassel and Vienna. Most recently, Suhrkamp Verlag published "Wir Untoten des Kapitals. On political monsters and green socialism" (2020).
