The musicians of the London band Malphino reinterpret traditional rhythms and varieties of Latin American music such as the cumbia of Colombia, the chicha of Peru or the rumba of Cuba - surrounded by a light tropical-psychedelic breeze. They play organ, accordion, tuba, bass and a range of percussion instruments. Malphino is a multinational group whose members come from Japan, Malaysia, Colombia, France, the United Kingdom and the Philippines.
