Julius Kuhn
Julius Kuhn was born in Braunschweig in 1992 and grew up in Ingolstadt. During his acting studies, which he began at the Mozarteum in Salzburg in 2012, he already appeared on stage for the Salzburg Festival. At the Theatertreffen Deutschsprachiger Schauspielstudierender, he won the ensemble prize with his year for the production "Camelot". His first engagement took him to the Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar in 2015 while still a student.
He has worked with directors such as Volker Lösch, Thomas Dannemann, Alvis Hermanis, Stefan Herheim, Robert Schuster, Christoph Mehler, Hasko Weber, Jan Neumann, Alice Buddeberg and Swaantje Lena Kleff.
He toured Thuringia with his monologue play "Schwalbenkönig". He can also often be seen in front of the camera for film and television; in addition to commercials and feature films for television, cinema film projects have taken him as far as India.
He has been a member of the Augsburg State Theater ensemble since the 2019/20 season. There he played Hans Castorp in "Der Zauberberg", Christian de Neuvilette in "Cyrano de Bergerac", Leo Schneider in "Freiheit.Pro" and played and sang in the song recital "Fliegende Bauten".
