Julian Warner is a German-British artist and curator. He is artistic director of the Brechtfestival Augsburg 2023-25 and publishes pop music and performances under the alias Fehler Kuti. He has co-curated performing arts festivals for Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm, Münchner Kammerspiele and Berlin Sophiensaele. In 2021, he designed a large-scale project in public space for the international theater festival Spielart on contemporary discourses of fear ("Global Angst: Parlament. Parade. Ritual."). In 2022 he was artistic director of the KulturRegion Stuttgart festival "Über:Morgen". He is the editor of an anthology on problems of postcolonial critique in Germany: After Europe. Beiträge zur decolonialen Kritik (Verbrecher Verlag, 2021) and was a visiting professor for dramaturgy at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design in 2022-23.
