As many meanings as the English word "swerve" has, the Augsburg indie band "How to Swerve" also relies on musical complexity: driving drums and growling bass as a foundation, scratchy guitar, warm synth pads and echoing arpeggios surround the vocals and lyrics without the "everybody's darling attitude" of singer Jules.
