Dr. Michael Friedrichs, an English/Germanist, was infected with Brecht in his youth by Harry Buckwitz's productions in Frankfurt. He took over the editorship of the Dreigroschenheft from Kurt Idrizovic in 2010 and the management of the Brecht Circle from Dr. Helmut Gier in 2012. He has been involved in the Brecht Festival since Ostermeier.
