Dr. Manuela Bojadžijev is a professor at Humboldt University Berlin. Her research focuses on migration from a global perspective as well as globalized and digital cultures. In addition to conceptual, methodological and epistemic questions of migration research, she is interested in the "controversy over migration" in migration societies and how social change is narrated, lived and carried out in and through representations of migration and flight. In addition, she examines, usually together with others, current transformation processes of mobility, migration and racism in interaction with changes in work and everyday life through digitalization and logistics, especially in urban spaces and geopolitical constellations.
