Carla Joyce Meyer was born and raised in Cologne, where she has been studying at the Cologne University of Music and Dance since 2020. Her pedagogy studies with a major in jazz/pop singing focus on the combination of artistic work and pedagogical freedom. Even as a child and teenager, she loved singing and discovering the expressive possibilities of her own voice. As a singing teacher and choir director, she now accompanies people of all ages on their singing development path.

As a songwriter, she has also been writing songs for several years that pose questions about the world and life and musically forge their own path between pop and jazz fusion.
