Antigone Akgün works as an author, actress, dramaturge and curator at German-speaking municipal and state theaters as well as in the independent scene. After training as an actor in Greece, she studied theater, film and media studies, Greek philology, classical archaeology and philosophy as well as dramaturgy. In her artistic practice, she deals with the overwriting of canonical literature and attempts to make marginalized positions audible and visible.
