The Saalbau Krone is the venue of the Upper Bavarian Folk Costume Association. It was founded in 1905 by people who had moved from the Bavarian Oberland to Augsburg to work in the industrial plants there. They brought their local dance and music tradition with them, which is still practiced today, several generations later, in the middle of Lechhausen. The dance groups of the Banat Swabians and the Croatians, both also based in Lechhausen, have different yet similar histories. "Ankommen, Weitertanzen" reflects these stories and presents a Lechhausen homeland fusion with Kapelle and Kolo, Platteln and Drah'n - with an invitation to dance along!
