In an inconspicuous residential building in Lechhausen, at Yorckstr. 26, the iconic Saunawelt Augsburg has been around for 50 years. For the Brecht Festival, the Finnish sauna also becomes a stage and audience space. BLUESPOTS PRODUCTIONS, who like to stage shows in special places, are now dropping all the covers. And their audience too.
In the mini-drama SAUNAH, the audience embarks on a special cultural infusion.
What changes when we sit naked opposite each other in the theater?
What else opens up apart from our pores?
What tensions can we release with collective sweating?
During the festival period, the entire sauna area, from the pool to the showers to the changing rooms, will feature an installation exhibition that complements the play.
