Wanlov the Kubolor, born Emmanuel Owusu-Bonsu in Romania in 1980, is a Ghanaian-Romanian musician and film director. Kubolor is a word from the Ghanaian language Ga, which means "truant", but can also be understood as a wanderer or vagabond. He released his debut album "Green Card" in 2007. Further solo albums followed in 2010, 2012 and 2017. As an activist, he campaigns for LGBT+ rights and against air pollution and plastic waste in Ghana.
