Veronika Utta Schneider, born in Gunzenhausen in 1984, studied fashion design at the Pforzheim University of Art and Design. From 2014 to 2017, she worked as a costume design assistant at the Münchner Kammerspiele. During this time, she created her first own works with Zino Wey, Caitlyn van der Maas, Verena Regensburger, Karnik Gregorian, Bayrische Geisha and Christopher Rüping. As a freelance costume designer, she works both in the independent scene and at municipal and state theaters, including Hebbel am Ufer, Sophiensaele Berlin, Schauspielhaus Bochum and Residenztheater in Munich. Most recently she created the costume designs for the production "these teens will save the future" (directed by Verena Regensburger) and "Nirvanas Last" (directed by Damian Rebgetz) at the Münchner Kammerspiele.
