Uli Fiedler studied electric and double bass at the Cologne University of Music with Dieter Manderscheid, Andreas Lonardoni and Bill Dobbins. Since then, he has been on tour or in the studio with a wide variety of artists at home and abroad, from Carlos del Junco (CAN) and Bruce Forman (USA) to the Augsburg Philharmonic Orchestra and the orchestra of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich. He has played bass in over 2000 performances, including Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair and Rent. Uli Fiedler has released three CDs of his own compositions and produces recordings of numerous jazz, rock and pop bands in his own recording studio.
