Stefan Wellgraf (PD Dr.), born 1979, works at the Institute for European Ethnology at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin as part of a Heisenberg Fellowship. He studied social and cultural sciences in Berlin and Frankfurt/Oder and was subsequently a fellow at the graduate school "Berlin-New York" at the TU Berlin. He was a visiting scholar at New York University and Goldsmiths University London. He has also worked as a research assistant at the Johann Jacobs Museum in Zurich and at the University of Hamburg. His research interests include exclusion, migration and popular and media culture.
