Nico Weber has been playing the trumpet since childhood. Gradually, he became more and more interested in jazz and improvised music and began studying jazz trumpet at the HMT in Munich in 2018. During his studies, he played with various Munich bands across a wide range of styles, gaining experience in the process. His studies took Nico to Mongolia in 2021, where he spent four months studying Mongolian folk music, composition and classical trumpet. He toured Nepal with his own project, the Nico Weber Kwartett, at the KatJazz Festival. Nico is also a scholarship holder of the Yehudi Menuhin "Live Music Now" Foundation.
