Mirko Roschkowski
The singer is described in the media as "passionately tenor-like". Originally from Dortmund, the tenor initially studied school education and only embarked on his professional musical path after completing his studies. Roschkowski took part in competitions, attended master classes and finally completed a three-year training course in Bremerhaven. It was there that he sang his first major roles in numerous Mozart operas. These roles in Mozart's operas in particular are part of his regular repertoire. Just three years later, Roschkowski was offered a permanent engagement at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf/Duisburg.
In addition to the Oper am Rhein, the tenor has also performed in Bonn, Cologne, Leipzig, Nuremberg, Vienna and Berlin. But his voice has also been used outside Europe, for example in China. From "Lohengrin" and "Der Freischütz" to "Iphigenie in Aulis", Roschkowski has been seen and heard in numerous major operas. This has led to many collaborations with numerous renowned directors, including Peter Konwitschny, Laura Scozzi and Christof Loy.
As a guest at the Staatstheater Augsburg, he will once again be part of the Mozart opera "La clemenza di Tito" in the role of the eponymous Roman Emperor Tito.
