Jonas Weber, born in Nürtingen near Stuttgart in 1995, first interned at the Junges Ensemble Stuttgart in 2014 and then at the Württembergische Landesbühne Esslingen under the directorship of Friedrich Schirmer, where he was hired as an assistant director and stage manager shortly afterwards. In the following seasons, he directed his own productions and occasionally appeared on stage as an extra and bit player.

He has been studying directing at the HfMDK since the winter semester 2018/19, was a scholarship holder of the Deutschlandstipendium, the Frankfurter Bachkonzerte e.V. and, from 2023, the Akadmie Musiktheater heute. Since August 2022, he has been studying at the Theater Academy Helsinki, Finland, as part of ERASMUS, where he wants to continue trying out all kinds of things, mostly involving melancholy and nonsense.
