Jörg Sundermeier, born in Gütersloh in 1970, lives in Berlin. Together with Kristine Listau, he runs Verbrecher Verlag (which he founded with Werner Labisch in 1995) and is an author for various newspapers and magazines. He has published numerous books, most recently "Tief Ausatmen" by Peter O. Chotjewitz (edited together with Cordula Güdemann). He also wrote the books "Der letzte linke Student" (2004), "Der letzte linke Student kämpft weiter" (2010), "Heimatkunde Ostwestfalen" (2010), "Die Sonnenallee" (2016) and "11 Berliner Friedhöfe, die man muss gesehen haben, bevor man stirbt" (2017) and the brochure "Eine Bewegung archivieren" (2018). Jörg Sundermeier was a member of the board of the Kurt Wolff Foundation from 2015 to 2021 and a member of the board of the Börsenverein, Landesverband Berlin Brandenburg since 2014.
