Frieder Blume is a musicologist, producer and DJ. He studied musicology and gender studies at the Humboldt University in Berlin, where he focused on the links between music and social identity constructions. As a sound designer, he collaborated with Joana Tischkau and Elisabeth Hampe on the productions 'Being Pink Ain't Easy' (2019) and 'Colonastics' (2020). In 2020 he composed the music for the film The Book of S of I. Chapter Film for the artist and filmmaker Maren Blume.
