Fire! Orchestra CBA - ECHOES morphed
Free jazz, new music, contemporary classical music, noise, improvisation, ethnic music, folk music, hardcore, jazz, electronica, minimal music ... It would take more than a wall of cupboards to pull out the ingredients for the Fire! Orchestra would require more than a wall of cupboards. Fortunately, its mastermind and free jazz legend Mats Gustafsson manages quite well without drawers. His new project ECHOES is a work of epic proportions, full of beauty, energy, obsessive passages and musicality. For Brechtnacht, the core line-up of the Fire! Orchestra with musicians from Augsburg and the surrounding area. Together they create new pieces from the riffs and melodies of ECHOES and bring previously unheard arrangements to the stage.
