The literary scholar, historian and educator Dr. Carmen Reichert has been Director of the Jewish Museum Augsburg Swabia since 1 May 2022.

Born in Augsburg, she currently teaches Yiddish literature at the LMU Munich and works in adult education at the European Janusz Korczak Academy. It is particularly important for her future work to portray Jewish life in the past and today in all its diversity and contradictions:
