Damian Rebgetz, born 1978 in Darwin (Australia), studied music at the Queensland Conservatorium and musical theater at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. He then completed a Master's degree in Sound Studies at the Berlin University of the Arts. After his studies, he worked in the independent scene before joining the ensemble of the Münchner Kammerspiele from 2015 to 2020. Rebgetz's own performances are inspired by experimental forms of music theater.
