The Stadtjugendring is the working group of the city's youth organizations. It represents around 40 youth associations, acts as their specialist advice centre and advises them on all financial and organizational issues. The SJR is also a provider of education, open youth work facilities and leisure activities. The Stadtjugendring Augsburg currently manages ten facilities and various meeting places. In addition, the employees are active in outreach work in all youth-relevant locations in the city. The Stadtjugendring is currently active in student support at five schools, in the areas of open and tied all-day schools. The SJR's field of activity is complemented by projects, mainly in the area of youth culture, such as the Modular Festival, the Rotary Streetsoccer Matchdays or youth political events such as the Rathausboss campaign for the 2020 local elections.
