Bastian Walcher has led the big band at St. Stephan's grammar school since 2009. During his studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, he performed throughout Europe with various rock, pop and jazz ensembles. The music teacher also works as a sought-after pianist, keyboardist and arranger for concert, theater and musical productions ("Jesus Christ Superstar", "Rocky Horror Picture Show", "Schubeck's Teatro" and many more) and plays in his own bands, for which he also arranges and composes.
