We are an Assyrian scout group that not only organizes camps and excursions into nature, but also plays loudly with drums and trumpets. We play church and international songs, as we are allowed to take part in various events as scouts.

Our group consists mainly of young refugees who were already scouts in our countries of origin (Iraq and Syria).

The scouting tradition in our countries of origin has always been linked to music. The emergence of the Scouts came through churches and was integrated into cultural and youth association work. Here in Germany, the AJM (Assyrian Youth Organization of Central Europe) gave us the opportunity to get to know youth organization work and combine it with scouting.
