Amon Ritz
Amon Ritz, born in Munich in 1998, studied mathematics and computational linguistics at LMU Munich for a short time after graduating from high school and has been studying media arts at KHM Cologne since 2020.
Together with the zugdirekt collective, he works on independent, interdisciplinary projects, with which they won the bundes.festival.film in 2017 and 2020, among others. As a cameraman and video artist, he works on theater productions with directors Damian Rebgetz, Jonny Bix Bongers, Miriam Ibrahim and René Pollesch, among others. In the 2019/20 season, he was engaged at the Münchner Kammerspiele, in particular for the technical and artistic design of the projects in the urban space and the digital offerings of KAMMER 4. For Theater Oberhausen, the Kunstsammlung NRW, the Spielart theater festival and Künstlerhaus Mousonturm, Ritz took over the video technical conception and supervision of event series and productions.
